TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
The following Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights and in all cases English law shall apply.
By clicking on the order form purchase confirmation button on the checkout page, you will be submitting an order which will incorporate all these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right not to accept your order, in which case we will not have any further obligation to you.
We may accept the whole or part of your order, both in respect of the kinds of products ordered and the quantity of products ordered. The price will be reduced accordingly.
We will notify you by email when your order is submitted to us. We will debit your account with the appropriate amount in full on accepting your order. We will be deemed not to have accepted your order until we have debited your account.
Deliveries will normally be made within 7 working days of the order date and payment received.
We will not despatch the products until we have received cleared funds. Delivery is not available on public holidays. We may deliver the products at any time during the day.
We are confident that you will enjoy your product purchased but you do have the right to return any item to us for any reason providing it is returned to us within 14 days of the date of despatch and it remains in saleable condition.
To do this please e-mail us at info@xtravirginoliveoil.com and explain the wish to return the goods.
In exceptional circumstances we may debit your account for more than the amount stated in the promotion to reflect any increase in the cost of the products for reasons beyond our reasonable control. For example, an order for next years oil has changed because of increases in duty or taxation, or adverse currency fluctuations. Any increase in the price will be fair and proportionate.
We may use an independent carrier. If there is no one to accept the delivery of your order a card will be left by the carrier so you can arrange a delivery time, directly with the carrier. Ultimately, if the carrier is unable to deliver your order it will be returned to us and you will be charged for it to be redespatched.
THE FOLLOWING TERMS LIMIT, AND IN SOME CASES EXCLUDE ALTOGETHER, OUR LIABILITY TO YOU.
We will not have any responsibility or liability for the non-delivery of any products unless either a) all of the products charged for are not delivered, or b) you give us full details of the shortages within 7 working days of the part delivery.
Our total liability to you for the non-delivery of any products is limited to delivering the products to you within 10 days of your telling us about the non-delivery or, at our option, crediting your account with the value of the products not delivered plus the delivery charge. We reserve the right to substitute a product of equal or higher value in the event of supply difficulties.
Our total liability to you in respect of any substitute products which you have told us are not acceptable to you is limited to crediting your account with the amount debited to your account in respect of the substitute products. If the substitute goods are not of a similar kind, and of an equal or higher value, as those described in the promotion we will also credit your account with the delivery charge.
We will not have any responsibility or liability in connection with any defects in the quality of the products unless you give us full details of the defects within 7 days of when the defect ought to have been apparent to you.
Al-Maida accepts no liability arising from errors (including typographical errors) contained in, or any omissions from, this website.
Al-Maida does not accept any responsibility for late or non-delivery of goods arising from incorrect delivery information being provided.

Every online purchase you make from our store is a secure transaction.
1. What information we hold about you.
If you have bought something from us we will have your email address, phone number, address and credit card details. If you choose to deliver items to a third-party (such as a friend) we will have their name and address. Information is only used to help us deliver the purchase and contact you.
You may also receive our newsletter and special offers. We also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. We may offer you a reward for purchases or make an offer we think you might like based on your order history.
We also collect information of a general nature about how many 'hits' our website gets. And we monitor the site traffic patterns; this tells us which areas of the site are being visited more than others. It also helps us build a more useful site in subsequent re-designs. We don't track individual users pathways through the site.
Our site also uses 'cookies'. Cookies are small amounts of data sent to your web browser by a web server. They cannot harm your machine in any way as they are small text files with simple information in them. You can see them as small text files inside your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder in Windows. Our cookies keep track of the items in your shopping basket and act as place markers when you move around the site.
2. What we do with your information.
In addition to processing your order, we also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. We may offer you a reward for purchases or make an offer we think you might like based on your order history. We NEVER exchange, sell or otherwise give away your email address to other companies. Your email address is used solely by yourself, for purposes of logging into your account, and us for emailing you regarding your orders and to update you with our newsletter.
3. Who else sees your information.
We may have to disclose some of your information to service suppliers to help complete your order. These parties include Royal Mail, Parcel Line, FedEx , TNT.
